I rarely wear makeup and I really don't care if someone else has a problem with it. I recently joined a local roller derby team and I've worn makeup more, lately, for photo shoots and events than I ever have. It had been so long since I wore makeup of any substance that I had to re-learn how and look up videos on the latest trends. Of course this is usually over-the-top makeup and it's odd to see myself with all that on my face. Most of my facebook profile pictures are au-natural and I only wear it for my Roller Derby events for the fun of it and to add to my derby persona. Great campaign and you are beautiful, inside and out!

I want you to include my name when you post these! I don't belong to Facebook or Twitter, so I'll change my picture on care2 and wherever else I might have it up--and maybe not change it back. I also plan not to wear makeup on those two days.

Wait--aren't the 17th and 18th a Thursday and Friday, not Fri and Sat as you have them? Just want to make sure I get the days right. Also, could you send me a reminder--and put me on your mailing list if you have one!

Yay!

There are so many reasons to quit using makeup. Chemicals, time wasted and because men tell us to. I have reached the point in my life where I want people to like me for who I am, not for what I look like.

Great campaign. Unless women really take authority over these fascist images that the weight loss industry, advertising, medical big pharma, make up, fashion industries (trillion dollar industries in total) rub into our faces and clobber us over the head to "inspire" us to buy their product which will make us look like the iconic look...we will have no power. NOT THAT WE DO as a group. The illusion is that we do. Giving voice to this is important.

i like it, for fun & profit, but otherwise, why bother?
